KOA Sioux Falls South Dakota

Nice park but road noise is prevalent. Good Verizon and ATT cell service. A bit pricey at $46/night but for an overnight stay to renew your driver's license, it's perfect. Be sure to visit Falls Park.

COE Park Russellville Arkansas

Old Post Corps of Engineers park in Russellville Arkansas, borders the Arkansas river. Tugs and barges cruise by the campground delivering goods and materials upstream and down. Easy access to the park with big open sites.  Electric and water only but a free dump station just outside the parks' boundaries. They offer a ball field, tennis courts, frisbee golf and a host of activities. Lots of hiking and biking trails. Close to town for groceries and shopping. If staying in the area be sure to visit Mt. Nebo. It's not recommended for trailers over 24' for good reason. Take your car or truck and spend the day. The access road is narrow and winding but the trip is well worth the time and effort. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the views of Lake Dardanelle and surrounding areas. If you time it right, you'll be treated to one of the most outstanding sunsets ever.

BlueWater Key RV Resort Key West Florida

Located just 9 miles north of Key West Florida is the BlueWater Key RV Resort. Competitively priced, they have two ways to rent their facilities. One through Bluewaterkey.net and the other Bluewaterkey.com. One is cheaper than the other so decide which way you want to go. .Com rates were $76-$155/night and .Net were $55-$165. The sites are spacious and we enjoyed our stay there. It was very peaceful. The only thing lacking was a spa. They have a pool which was nice, but IMHO in order to truly be a 'resort' they must get a spa installed. Here are some pics of our site and the campground. Ample room for any size rig. 10 yr rule applies but trailers and Class Cs are welcomed.

Jamaica Beach, Texas

There are three parks in the Galveston Island suitable for big rigs....Sandpiper, Dellanera and Jamaica Beach. The Sandpiper is closest to downtown but has many sites right on the highway. If you're not lucky enough to get an interior site you'll have lots of traffic and no privacy. I'd rather stay in a WalMart. They were also the most expensive for a weeks stay. Dellanera is just through town and is a City Park. We thought the $42/night + $8/day +$4/day for 50amp service a bit too much. We ended up at Jamaica Beach which is about 10 miles west of Galveston. Easy access to the beach, mini golf, two pools, two spas and lots of other stuff to keep you busy. It's also Galveston's newest park. Cost us  $225.70 for the week, 50amp with no extra charges.
